Local Table Check dates

Booking terms

Draft — have it checked before you take the first payment. The cancellation rule below (48 hours) is stricter than your Tripadvisor listing (24 hours). That is allowed, but the wording here, the Stripe checkout and your confirmation email must all say the same thing, or the version most favourable to the guest applies.

1. Who you are contracting with

Tours are organised and run by Kyrylo Zhornovyi, trading as Local Table, Lipsiusstraße 14, 01309 Dresden. A contract comes into existence when payment is confirmed and we send a booking confirmation by email.

2. Prices

€89 per adult (aged 16 and over) and €79 per child (aged 1 to 15). Prices are per person and are the final amount payable. Minimum booking is two guests.

3. What is included

One Weißwurst and one pretzel per guest, a shared cheese and charcuterie platter, half a Leberkäse per guest, two small beers and one glass of honey wine per guest, a shared Bavarian dessert, and three hours of guiding. Bottled water, transport and gratuities are not included. Guests under 16 receive soft drinks in place of alcoholic ones, in accordance with the German Youth Protection Act (JuSchG).

4. Cancellation by you

Cancel more than 48 hours before the stated start time for a full refund to the original payment method. Within 48 hours no refund is possible, because tables and food have already been committed. You may transfer your place to another person at any time by telling us the new guest's name.

5. Cancellation by us

A tour requires a minimum of two guests. If that is not reached we may offer you another date; if no alternative suits you, you receive a full refund. The same applies if a tour cannot run for reasons outside our control, such as severe weather, strike or illness of the guide. Further claims are excluded except as provided in § 9.

6. Right of withdrawal

Under § 312g(2) no. 9 of the German Civil Code there is no statutory right of withdrawal for leisure services provided on a specific date. Our own cancellation policy in § 4 applies instead and is more generous than the law requires.

7. Late arrival and refusal of participation

The group leaves the meeting point at the stated time. If you are late, call the number in your confirmation and we will try to bring you in at the second stop; we cannot hold the group and no refund is due. We may refuse participation to anyone heavily intoxicated or behaving in a way that puts the group at risk, without refund.

8. Allergies and dietary requirements

Tell us about allergies and dietary requirements when booking. We pass them to the venues, but food is prepared in kitchens that handle allergens and we cannot guarantee the absence of traces. Guests remain responsible for their own medical decisions. The tour is not suitable for vegans.

9. Liability

We are liable without limitation for injury to life, body or health and for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence. For slight negligence we are liable only where an essential contractual obligation is breached, and then only up to the foreseeable damage typical of this kind of contract. Participation is otherwise at your own risk.

10. Photographs

Photographs are sometimes taken on tour and may be used for marketing. Tell the guide at the start if you would rather not appear, and you will be left out.

11. Applicable law

German law applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of your country of habitual residence remain unaffected.
